Born to Stamp.

Another card for the Gingersnaps “Once in a Blue Moon” challenge.
For some reason, I got it in my head… “Wonder if the labels would stay in place if I embossed them”? Kinda like Cuttlebug Highlights. Needless to say it worked.
My stamps are from; Born to Stamp, Limited Edition and coffee cup is from Hero Arts, and Rubber Stamp is from Crafty Secrets.

Thanks for stopping.

Over at Gingersnaps Creations is our “Once In A Blue Moon”, challenge and you can pick your challenge. So when I saw that Sharon chose Office Labels I said I have not done these in ages….
Therefore, here is my challenge piece. I used the 5/8” x 7/8” labels and Tim Holtz’s Distress inks. My stamps are from Crafty Secrets.
The punch is from Martha Stewart, “Embroidered Floral” and some lace and rhinestones.
Thanks for stopping in, and I would love to see your creations. Due Date is Jan.25.2011.

Have A Boot-iful Holiday Season

My TAC order came in yesterday and I could not wait to try this card.
The boots and holly are colored with Copic Markers, I added my
“Atyou Spica Markers” in 00 Clear and
21 Lips
tick. I used Cuttlebug Plus “Elegant Ellipse: embossing fold to cut the center oval in the card. Using my Spellbinder Long Oval dies, I cut a frame to hold the boots.
For the inside of the card I repeated the oval frame and added, “Have A Boot-iful Holiday Season” and small Holly. Colored with Copic”s.

Have a great day, thanks for stopping in today.

Cuttlebug Smoosh Christmas Cards

From October 2007 newsletter come these Cuttlebug Smoosh cards.
I made these (12) in all for our stamping group and in real life, the colors are much softer and easier on the eye.
I’m using a new Cuttlebug Embossing plate that cuts and embosses all in one pass.
I’m not sure the size of this one, but it fits right inside an A2 card.
My graphics are from Moonlight, The Graphic Fairy and Clearly Vintage.

Thanks so much for stopping in.

Ice Goddess Ornament

This ornament was just for fun, there’s no special technique involved here.
I apologize for the poor picture today as it’s snowing here, so it’s almost to dark for pictures.

My Retro Lady is a graphic from “Magic Moonlight”, and she is just a headshot.
I would love to see a full scan of her, as I bet she is beautiful!
My stickers are from “Plane Class”, Designer papers from G. C. D. Studios.

Thank you for popping in today; hope you have a snow shovel handy as it sounds like it will be a long and messy weekend.

Happy Holidays “Tim Tag”.

In the pass few days, I have seen so many beautiful tags that I just had to give it a try.
I wish I had all the proper embellishments to go with these tags,
but for now this will have to do. Regardless,
I had fun doing this tag and can’t wait to try another one.
Thanks for stopping in today.

Fat Snowmen Last Longer.

Thought this would work well with our CG# 81 Gingersnap “Snow People” Challenge.
While at convention this fall, I saw these “Country Stars” done as ornaments and decorations for packages and gift bags. So easy to do I just had to try it too.

My little snow girl is from Darcie’s, and I don’t know if she is still available as she is from the early 1990’s. The two embossing folders are from Sizzix. The “Fat Snowmen” is a computer font. She was colored with Copic Markers and sprayed with Glimmer Mist.
Have a great day, stay warm, sounds like we may get a few inches this week-end.
Who’s up for a snowman in the front yard?
