Amazing Gear Man

Thought I would try a Guy Card. I had bought this Spellbinder Die (Sprockets) some time ago and here again just getting around to using it.
I’m not sure what they use to color the gears with, so this is a mix of everything I had on hand.
Some Acrylic paints, some distress inks and Color Box Silver ink.
I even colored the brad heads to match.
My stamps are from Amuse Studio’s, Stampers Anonymous and Hero Arts.
Hope you enjoy the Guy Card.
Have a Creative Day.

Microscope Slides Mailer

Movers And Shapers, if you haven’t tried these I do recommend them. With the help of Terry and Sara, I am now the proud owner of two Mover and Shapers. I did this for my partner in crime as a Thank You gift. This is a Microscope Slide Mailer. Lots of scrap papers, some sewing, some lace, a few stamps and dies. What do you think? Thank you for your time. Hugs Vada

Eye On Art

Last Sunday I popped into Frilly and Funkie and read the article on Step x Step Jumbo Tags. I was very surprised to learn that this Matte Medium would make such a beautiful resist. Some time ago I purchased this “stuff” thinking I needed it for something, but never did use it. Well I’m in the “Use It Up”, mood and thought might as well give this technique a try. I’m so pleased with my results, I could not wait to show you. This is my card. Stamps are from Judi-Kins (Face), Large Swirl Betsy Griffin ISC, Amuse Studio’s and (Art Script) Hero Arts. Distress Inks, Festive Berries, Peacock Feathers and Mustard Seed. Liquitex Matte Medium, Distress Ink Markers. Hope you give this technique a try. Thanks for popping in today. Have a creative day, Hugs Vada

Distress Art Butterfly Card

Back to Bold and Bright again, for some reason I’m hooked on this.
I just love the bold and bright look. What do you think?
I have a wonderful mix of stamps here and they are All Night Media (Anna Griffin), New background from Hero Arts, Lady is from Arts Impressions, and some home made circles and blots.
The large butterfly is a “Tim” die which I put Acetate under the wing, that was colored with Alcohol Inks. The second butterfly is a punch from Martha Stewart that was colored with distress ink and stamped with Dollar Store stamps.

Thanks so much for popping in today, hope you have a wonderful, but creative week-end.
