A Little Fun With Halloween Dies

This is a Tag, but I added magnets to the back so I could use it on the refrigerator.

Using the Tim Holtz Dies and a Sizzix embossing folder, this little Halloween village was made.
My Tree die is from Memory Box, I even added some TP to the tree.
Have a wonderful week-end.
Thanks for the visit today, hope you have time to play.
Enjoy the fall color.

Vintaj Emboss Folders

I’m adding a small flip book I made with the new
(Vintaj Embossing Folders).
I use Aluminum Metal Sheet, cut it to fit my folder,
embossed with the Big Shot, then die it with Alcohol inks.
The little book is 3 ½ x 2 ½ or ATC size. I have six pages in the book witch are stamp front and back with Tim Holtz’s
Vintage Advertising Stamps (CMS 101).
I stained the pages with distress inks.
For the front cover I used the Lily Damask (657864)
and the back cover is Nouveau Roses (657807).
Thanks so much for your visit today.

For The Love Of Pumpkin Bars.

Thought I would try something different today.
It’s this background, I wish you could see this in real life, as this just sparkles and shines for just being clear embossing powder.
I used Tim’s kraft paper, distress inks, embossing folder and clear embossing powder.
How totally fun!!
Thanks for popping in today.    I’m off for Coffee and Pumpkin Bars.

So Sorry I’m Late

Today I’m entering my tag in Linda Ledbetter
Challenge over at
Studio L 3 this CC2 Challenge 20 using Tim Holtz: A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. 2, page 44.
Truth be told, I had way to much fun with this challenge that I just plan lost track of time.    If you have Tim’s
Book, I recommend this technique very much. My Background stamp is from Tim’s (Textiles CMS 023) the large Tattered Leaves Die (which they were cut from fall ribbon) as well as from Kraft Resist paper.
I also use Word Bands that I added Black Adirondack Acrylic Paint too.
The small calendar is from Tim’s Salvage Stickers.
I’ll try hard to be on time next time, so thanks for letting me play along.
Have a wonderful fall afternoon, Hugs Vada

Howling At The Moon

Continuing with the them at   Frilly and Funkie  “How Can You Resist”.

This is a double resist card, done with clear embossing powder.
First the Moon was stamped and embossed, then the wolf was added and embossed. The moon was masked and sponged with distress inks.
Then I removed the mask and covered the moon and filled in the sky.
Filled in the hills, removed the ink from the wolf and removed the embossing powder. And over stamped the two images, (wolf and moon).
Added stars and birds to the sky. Stamp credits are; Stampers Anonymous, Our Craft Lounge and Stampscapes
Thanks for stopping in today.
