Just For Fun

Working with new stamps from “La Blanche”.
The Face Tag is called “Measure Her Thoughts.
For my self I think she should be named “Gear Head”, fits her life style.
I used distress inks and nibs to color her. Followed with drops of water
 and alittle Goosebumps spray.
Fun bold colors, and piercing eyes.

Tag two is “For the Love of Journaling”.
This tag uses two different sets of stamps, “Photography”,
set of two and  “Well Written”.
I used distress markers with this tag and drops of bleach, frayed the edges.
Thanks for stopping in this week end.

2.) What techniques or routine do you employ to inspire
yourself?
I don’t really have a (routine,) but I am a Technique Junkie

3.) What colour do you hardly ever use?
Gee this is a hard question for me, as I enjoy the color

Both, I love to color with just about any medium. I have both
and now have Copic Markers and Distress Markers.
5.) What is the most useless item that you have purchased for

For this card I used stamps from Artistic Outpost and distressed markers.
Two Spellbinder Dies and Tim Holtz’s embossing folder. Real bird feathers were also used.

Two Vintage Greetings

This stamp is from “The Saturday Evening Post” series from
Cornish Heritage Farms and was inked with distress markers.
Hello Spring is from Kitchen Sink Stamps.
Two Spellbinders Dies were used.
For this card I used a vintage graphic from “The Graphic Fairy“,
I removed the greeting so I could over stamp the Nature stamp from “I Brake for Stamps“.
This card was over chalked to darken the colors. I added
Atyou Spica Glitter pens and over stamped with Hero Arts swirl stamp.
Spellbinders D-Lites die was used to form
the lace work around the main image.
Thank you for your visit today, hope your weather is better than ours, we are due for freezing rain this afternoon with an inch of snow by morning.
Great, it’s so icy now, why not add alittle more. ;o)

Thinking Of Spring

A nice break from all the Red’s of Christmas and now Valentines,
I needed some bright and colorful, little something with a Spring feel.
I think this card does just that for me.
My background stamp is from Hero Arts. I used crumpled up tissue paper that was patted in distress inks, (salty ocean, squeezed lemonade and pickled raspberry.)
Then the tissue was pressed unto the card stock, leaving bright bold splashes of color, then it was water down so the colors would run and bleed together. How Fun Is That?
For my tag, it was blended with the blending tool, same colors, stamped with Stampers Anonymous little girl stamp. Water added and when dried sprayed with Goosebumps spray.
I used two small vellum tags and they were stamped with Stampin’ Up stamps.
Thanks for stopping in today, hope you have a wonderful week end.

D- Lites Die -Thinking Of You

As of late I have been seeing a lot of work done with stencils and all kinds of sprays and paints, even going back to embossing paste (Check out
So I thought it was time to break out an old plastic 99 cent stencil and some embossing paste to which I added some Victorian velvet distress ink.
Now you know the winter is getting long here when
all I have to do is play with embossing paste.
To be honest with you, it was so fun to go back to the beginning stamping techniques. So I ask you, (When was the last time you went back to the basic’s of stamping, and what did you retry?
Regardless this made a very nice little card, and I’m pleased with it. Hope you are having a creative day. Thanks for stopping in today, I enjoy for visits.
